Trainee Accountants
As an approved employer of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) we hope to take on at least one trainee accountant every two to three years.
- Trainee contracts will typically run for 3 to 4 years depending on the qualification that you hope to attain (CAT or ACCA)
- You will gain experience over a wide variety of our client work, which you will find relevant to your studies
- You will receive assistance towards your studies in the form of paid for study materials and study leave in addition to your annual leave
- You will be assigned a mentor that will provide you with bi-annual feedback on your progress
If you are a University graduate hoping to train towards the ACCA qualification then we would expect you to gain an honours degree in a relevant subject at 2:2 or above.
If you are a school leaver hoping to train towards the CAT or ACCA qualifications then we would expect you to have at least 5 SCE Higher Grades, including Accountancy, English and Mathematics at Grade B or above.
All trainee contracts are subject to a 6 month probationary period and there is no guarantee of a permanent position at the end of the training contract.
